The WRI Education Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded four (4) scholarships to recipients who are current or continuing undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in structural and/or civil engineering at an accredited four-year university or college program.
The four recipients were selected following the review and careful consideration of over 220 applications by the WRI Scholarship Selection Committee and its academic advisors. The WRI would like to thank all of those individuals who submitted applications. The selection process was very difficult, given the number of worthy candidates this year. Scholarships are awarded by the The WRI Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, formed for the specific purpose of funding and awarding these scholarships to qualified high school seniors, as well as current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in structural and/or civil engineering at accredited four-year universities or colleges. Scholarships, ranging from $2,500 up to $10,000, will not exceed one year, will be awarded for a specified academic year only, and will be paid by the Foundation directly to the university or college designated by the recipient.
