Producer Division
WRI Producer Members consist of firms, corporations or wholly owned subsidiaries that is regularly engaged in the manufacture of Welded Wire Reinforcement for reinforced concrete construction. Each regular producer member has representation on the WRI Executive Committee.
Associate Division
WRI Associate Members compose a diverse group of individuals and firms whose focus is to support the promotion of structural Welded Wire Reinforcement in the concrete reinforcement marketplace. Typically, they supply products or services to structural WWR producers or work with producers to meet the needs of specific construction projects and to expand the general market for structural WWR. Associate Member categories include:
Rod Mill:
Any person, firm and/or authorized representative of a firm that is principally engaged in the business of supplying steel wire rod to the industry.
Machinery Supplier:
Any person, firm and/or authorized representative of a firm whose principal business is the sale of machinery and related equipment or services used in connection with the manufacture of structural WWR.
Epoxy Coaters & Manufacturers:
Any person, firm and/or authorized representative of a firm that is principally engaged in the coating of structural WWR and/or the sale of coating materials.
Contractors and Distributors:
Contractor associate members may include any person, firm and/or authorized representative of a firm that is principally engaged in the business of contracting to supply and/or install structural WWR. Distributor associate members may include any person, firm and/or authorized representative of a firm that is principally engaged in the business of stocking, handling and distributing structural WWR.
Canadian Division
Serves as the liaison between the structural WWR industry and government agencies, allied industries, code groups, and other industry-related organizations for the advancement and promotion of structural WWR in Canada. This division also produces its own technical bulletins and literature on structural WWR for distribution throughout Canada.
